Replacement Timber windows and door complete impressive Georgian home

Timber sash windows and Chadlington entrance door in beautiful Georgian home

Mr Heneghan’s home in Suffolk, which now features our replacement timber windows (both cottage casement and sash) and Chadlington entrance door, is a handsome 1830’s Georgian property in the Suffolk countryside.

“When we purchased the house, we planned to carry out extensive refurbishment work, including adding an extension and conservatory at the rear. We had to move out while all this work was going on”.

Part of Mr Heneghan’s plan was to replace the original windows and doors. Following a meeting with a member of our team from the Woodbridge showroom, Mr Heneghan decided on slim sash windows and cottage casements.

“We planned for the work to be undertaken in two stages. The windows were to be first and then we returned to replace the front door in the second stage”.

Mr Heneghan was very keen to retain the original features of the front entrance door, choosing the Chadlington design in ‘Harewood Grey’ finish and toplight, a close replica to the original.

When asked if he was happy with the results, Mr Heneghan responded:

It’s all in the detail
