The manufacturers guarantee covers the following defects:

Profiles/Seals/Gaskets/Bars12 years
Double glazing units*12 years
Hardware12 years
*Warranty of Sealed Units supplied applies to standard units fitted by employees or agents of manufacturer in accordance with Masterframe visual standards

The Burgess Group guarantee covers the following:

Workmanship10 years

Exclusions

  • Glass Breakage
  • Failure of any component due to wear and tear, neglect, vandalism, wilful damage, misuse, or lack of maintenance in accordance with the manufacturers care and maintenance instructions
  • Minor adjustments after 18 months of the installation date
  • Damage due to continued use of incorrectly adjusted and / or broken items

Conditions

Any defect in the works which may be subject to the provisions of the Guarantee need to be notified to The Burgess Group immediately in writing, specifying the nature and extent of any such defect, with supporting photographs and in any event no later than 7 days from when the defect was first noticed. The Burgess Group shall be afforded access to Site to ascertain whether the Works are defective as claimed. If in ‘The Burgess Group’s’ reasonable opinion, the defect is not caused by either faulty workmanship or goods, then the client shall reimburse The Burgess Group for the costs in undertaking the Site visit and any other reasonable costs incurred.

The Guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
