Our Guarantee covers the following defects in the manufacture and installation of our products:

Extrusion: White PVCu & Laminated extrusion (against warping,
cracking, splitting & discolouration outside of the band specified in British standards)

Glass sealed units (against breakdown – condensation within the unit)10 years

Friction hinges10 years
Fab & Fix hardware10 years
Avko solid paint (excluding Pearlescent or Metallic finish)10 years

Exclusions

  • Glass Breakage
  • Failure of any component due to neglect, vandalism, wilful damage, extreme environmental conditions, or lack of maintenance in accordance with our care and maintenance instructions
  • Failure of any component due to use in excess of their design life/specification
  • Minor adjustments in accordance with our care and maintenance instructions
  • Damage due to continued use of incorrectly adjusted and / or broken items

Conditions

Any defect in the works which may be subject to the provisions of the Guarantee need to be notified to The Burgess Group immediately in writing, specifying the nature and extent of any such defect, with supporting photographs and in any event no later than 7 days from when the defect was first noticed. The Burgess Group shall be afforded access to Site to ascertain whether the Works are defective as claimed. If in ‘The Burgess Group’s’ reasonable opinion, the defect is not caused by either faulty workmanship or goods, then the client shall reimburse The Burgess Group for the costs in undertaking the Site visit and any other reasonable costs incurred.

The Guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.
